What exactly is a welding kit?
A welding kit is a set of metal product parts – barbecue, fire pit, griddle, welding table – cut and sometimes pre-bent in our workshop, then delivered flat. It's up to you to position, tack, and then weld them to bring the finished object to life.
It's not a simplified DIY kit. The most technical parts – rolling a shell, bending a ventilation grille, cutting reinforcements – are already completed in the workshop. What's left for you is assembly and welding: the part where your expertise truly makes a difference.

The El Fuego 100 fire pit, our most demonstrative example
Among all our kits, the El Fuego 100 fire pit, designed by Ülfi and offered as a welding kit by 4A Métal, perfectly illustrates this philosophy. It is a Ø100 cm wood-burning cooking system, designed to bring people together around the embers – not just a simple garden accessory.
In this kit version, the 3mm Corten steel shell is already rolled and bent – this is the most technical step of the product, entirely carried out in the workshop. All you have to do is weld the inside of the shell all around its perimeter, then mount the reinforced square tube legs, the four braked swivel castors, and the two stainless steel handles.
The result: a fire pit with the identical design to the assembled version sold by Ülfi, but one that you built yourself – a real project for experienced welders, comfortable with significant weld beads.
