Experienced welders
Comfortable with longer weld beads and a significant sized structure.
The El Fuego brazier, designed by Ülfi, offered as a welding kit by 4A Métal.
The El Fuego is not just a brazier: it's a wood-fired cooking system, designed to gather people around the embers. Its wide Corten steel shell and aerated firebox make it a base that you can complete over time with a grill, griddle, pot stand or suspended cooking cage, according to your desires. You're not investing in a simple brazier, but in a cooking platform that evolves with your needs and future accessories from the El Fuego range.
In this kit version, the shell is already rolled and bent, exactly as in the assembled version — it's the most technical part of the product, and it's delivered ready to use. You do the internal welding of the shell, the assembly of the legs, handles and shelf yourself.
This kit is for those who want to assemble a robust brazier themselves, without having to roll the shell, the most delicate step in its manufacture. You benefit from the same design, the same steel and the same dimensions as the version assembled by Ülfi, with the added pleasure of building the structure with your own hands.
Comfortable with longer weld beads and a significant sized structure.
Who want to assemble a centerpiece for their outdoor space.
Who want a real project, not just a simple accessory.
The shell, already rolled, forms the starting point for assembly. You perform the internal weld all around the perimeter to ensure the structure's watertightness, then attach the legs, castors, stainless steel handles, and shelf.
On the assembled version, this same fully welded — rather than bolted — structure guarantees the brazier's rigidity and durability over time.

Corten is not painted. It naturally develops a protective patina on contact with air and moisture, which evolves over time, from orange-brown to deeper shades.
Unlike high-temperature paint, this patina does not flake off due to heating cycles. This evolution is part of the product's identity: your brazier tells its story through each cooking session, and no El Fuego will acquire exactly the same patina.
The El Fuego was not designed as a static brazier. Once your kit is assembled, you can complete it with accessories from the range: cooking grill, plancha, support for mini-pans, support for stewpot, or suspended cooking cage.
Today a brazier alone, tomorrow a real cooking station.
The parts of this kit are cut, bent and rolled in our workshop in Romilly-sur-Seine, in Aube. Each kit is checked before shipping to ensure precise assembly and consistent quality.
Yes. This is the most technical step in manufacturing, and it is entirely completed in the workshop. You only need to weld the inside of the shell, then attach the legs, handles, and shelf.
A MIG/MAG or TIG welder capable of welding 3 to 5 mm steel, with good proficiency on long weld beads.
Yes, during the first few weeks of patination, rust-colored streaks may appear. They disappear once the patina has stabilized. We recommend avoiding very light coatings during this phase.
No, they are available separately and are compatible with this brazier, whether in kit form or assembled version.
The assembled and ready-to-use version is available directly from Ülfi.
Designed by Ülfi and manufactured by 4A Métal, the El Fuego kit is a true manufacturing project for anyone who wants to assemble a brazier designed to last for years with their own hands.
