Easy assembly
A genuine kit designed for simple welding
The 600 × 1800 table uses precisely cut parts and different positioning systems to facilitate the placement of the top and base.
Kit versions are supplied with holding clamps and threaded rods. These allow the elements to be pressed together, to maintain the structure during tack welding, and to limit movements related to welding.
1
Top positioning
The edges and reinforcements are positioned under the top thanks to the cuts, slots, and markers provided during design.
2
Securing in place
Clamps and threaded rods allow the different parts to be pressed together and maintain a consistent assembly during tack welding.
3
Mounting the 6 legs with templates
The supplied templates fit the square tube to center the upper and lower plates of the six legs before tack welding and final welding.
4
Progressive welding
The top and base can then be tack welded and then progressively welded, alternating zones to better control thermal deformations.
Controlled flatness: the assembly system allows the various parts to be clamped before welding to achieve a regular geometry. The final result also depends on following the tack welding order, the distribution of welds, and controlling heat input.
Also a guided base
Templates provided to position the plates of the 6 legs
Guided assembly doesn't stop at the top. In the complete table kit for welding version, specially cut templates are also provided to facilitate the positioning of the plates on the six square tube legs.
These templates conform to the outer shape of the tube to center the plates, keep them aligned with the leg, and simplify their tack welding before final welding.
Template for the upper plate
A first template allows positioning and centering the upper plate on the square tube. This plate is then used to bolt the leg under the table top.
Centered positioning on the tube
Plate kept in alignment
Facilitated tack welding
Consistent assembly on all six legs
Template for the lower plate
A second template allows positioning the lower plate, located at the other end of the leg and intended to receive the caster.
Centering of the plate for the caster
Alignment with the square tube
Simple tack welding before final welding
Cleaner and more homogeneous base
A kit designed to be truly assembled: the templates prevent the customer from having to manually measure and mark the centering of each plate on all six legs.
Designed for real workshops

Finish
Raw pickled steel, unpainted
Raw steel may exhibit color variations, handling marks, superficial marks, or natural oxidation beginnings. These characteristics are inherent to a raw metal product intended for workshop use.
Clamping system
Ø16 mm holes and 50 mm center distance
The upper surface and peripheral edges are perforated with 16 mm diameter holes, arranged in a regular 50 mm center distance.
This network allows the use of various clamping accessories and multiplies the positioning points across the entire table.
Positioning long parts
The regular grid allows stops, squares, and accessories to be placed at different locations along the 1800 mm length.
Securing before welding
Clamps, presses, and Ø16 mm pins allow elements to be held during inspection, tack welding, and assembly.
Clamping on the side faces
The 150 mm perforated peripheral edge also allows work on all four sides of the table.
Creating repetitive setups
The repetition of holes facilitates the creation of templates, reproducible positions, and small series.
Rigidity and versatility
A 150 mm peripheral edge
The peripheral edge forms a continuous belt on all four sides of the table. It contributes to the overall rigidity of the top and complements the internal structure.
Its 150 mm height also provides a lateral surface allowing parts to be clamped vertically or directly against the edge of the table.
Enhanced rigidity on all four sides
Clamping possible on the side faces
Positioning of vertical parts
Securing at the edge of the work surface
Design adapted for long parts
Designed for real workshops

A table designed and manufactured in France
The 600 × 1800 mm welding table is developed and manufactured by 4A Métal in our workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube region.
We master the main stages of its manufacture: file preparation, nesting, laser cutting, adjustment, assembly, welding, and control of the prepared elements.
Precise laser cutting
The different parts are cut on our fiber laser to obtain regular shapes, clean holes, and consistent positioning during assembly.
Pickled S235JR steel
Pickled steel offers a cleaner surface than heavily scaled black steel and facilitates preparation and welding operations.
Mastered design
The position of the holes, reinforcements, legs, plates, and mounting systems is defined in our own manufacturing files.

Frequently asked questions
FAQ – 600 × 1800 mm welding table
What is the difference between the four configurations?
The kit top is delivered in parts to be welded. The welded top is assembled in our workshops, without a stand. The complete kit table includes the top, 6 legs, plates, castors, and screws, but requires welding. The complete welded table is prepared in the workshop and only requires the bolted assembly of the elements provided for this purpose.
Why is this table more accessible than other models?
Its reduced width (600 mm instead of 900 or 1200 mm) requires less material and takes up less floor space, which allows for a more accessible price. The thickness of the top, the rim, and the clamping system remain identical to the rest of the range.
What is the total surface area of the top?
The top measures 600 × 1800 mm, for a total working surface of 1.08 m².
Is the top really 6 mm thick?
Yes. The top is made of 6 mm thick pickled S235JR steel, identical to the other models in the range.
What is the diameter of the holes?
The holes have a diameter of 16 mm and are spaced at a regular pitch of 50 mm.
What clamping accessories can be used?
The table is designed to accommodate accessories compatible with the Ø16 mm system: clamps, stops, squares, presses, pins, and other positioning elements. Check the exact dimensions of the accessories before purchase.
How to position the plates correctly on the 6 legs?
The complete kit table is delivered with positioning templates specially cut to fit the square tube of the legs. A first template centers the upper plate, intended to be bolted under the top. A second centers the lower plate, intended to receive the castor.
Is the table equipped with 4 or 6 legs?
6 legs, like the other 1800 mm long models in the range (900 × 1800 and 1200 × 1800), to distribute support evenly over the entire length.
Can the table be equipped with castors?
Yes. Ø155 mm industrial castors with double brakes are offered depending on the chosen configuration. Given the weight of the table, handling must always be done with caution.
Is the table delivered painted?
No. It is delivered in raw pickled steel. Regular protection and maintenance are recommended to limit the appearance of superficial oxidation.
Where is the table manufactured?
It is designed, cut, and manufactured by 4A Métal in our workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube region.
Is delivery possible everywhere in France?
Delivery can be organized in France and several European countries. Conditions depend on the configuration, weight, volume, and destination address.
