BBQ Grill for Magma 13×13 Rocket Stove – Weld-it-yourself kit
The official grill for the Magma 13×13 Rocket Stove, offered as a weld-it-yourself kit by 4A Métal.
With this grill, your Magma 13×13 is no longer limited to wood-fired cooking with pots or pans. Thanks to its 33 × 33 cm cooking surface and charcoal cradle, which also acts as a deflector to protect the base of the firebox, you can transform your stove into a genuine compact barbecue: perfect for meats, vegetables, skewers, sausages, fish, or small items to share.
In this kit version, the grill is already folded and ready to use. It sits inside the charcoal cradle, which is supplied as laser-cut parts to be assembled by tack welding and then finish-welded with its supports.
⚠️ Compatibility — Magma 13×13 only
This grill is sized for the 130 × 130 mm firebox section of the standard Rocket Stove Magma (13×13). It is not compatible with the Magma Compact 9×9 (90 × 90 mm firebox section), whose firebox surface is too small to accommodate this cradle and grill.

Assembly
The charcoal cradle and its supports are designed for easy assembly: the parts are laser-cut with precision to facilitate tack welding before final welding. Once the cradle is finished, the pre-folded grill simply rests on top, without the need for additional welding.

The Magma 13×13 is already a powerful and fuel-efficient wood-burning rocket stove. Cut and prepared in our workshop
The components of this kit are laser-cut and prepared in our workshop in Romilly-sur-Seine (Aube, France). Each kit is inspected before shipping to ensure precise assembly and consistent quality.
Compatibility
This grill is exclusively compatible with the Magma 13×13 Rocket Stove developed by Ülfi, whether purchased as a weld-it-yourself kit from 4A Métal or in a fully assembled version from Ülfi. It is not suitable for the Magma Compact 9×9, whose smaller firebox cannot accommodate this cradle.

Does this grill fit the Magma 9×9?
No. This grill and its cradle are sized for the 130×130mm firebox section of the Magma 13×13. They do not fit the Magma Compact 9×9 (90×90mm firebox).
Is the grill already folded?
Yes. Only the charcoal cradle and its supports require assembly and welding.
Do I need to weld the grill to the cradle?
No, the grill simply sits in the cradle once the latter has been welded.
Do I need a specific welding machine?
A MIG/MAG or TIG welder capable of welding steel is perfectly suitable.
Can I use wood with the grill installed?
Yes. The grill can be used with charcoal or with the embers produced by the Rocket Stove Magma, depending on your preferred cooking method.

No. This grill is designed exclusively for the Ülfi Magma 13×13 Rocket Stove.
