A real kit designed for simple welding

The 600 × 1500 table uses precisely cut parts and various positioning systems facilitating the placement of the top and base.

Kit versions are delivered with holding clamps and threaded rods. These allow the elements to be pressed against each other, to hold the structure during tacking, and to limit movements related to welding.

1

Top positioning

The rims and reinforcements are positioned under the top thanks to the cuts, slots, and markers provided during design.

2

Holding in place

Clamps and threaded rods allow the various parts to be pressed together and maintain a regular assembly during tacking.

3

Assembly of 6 legs with jigs

The supplied jigs fit the square tube to center the upper and lower plates of the six legs before tacking and welding.

4

Progressive welding

The top and base can then be tacked and progressively welded, alternating areas to better control thermal deformations.

Controlled flatness: the mounting system allows the various parts to be pressed before welding and to obtain a regular geometry. The final result also depends on respecting the tacking order, weld distribution, and heat input control.

Also guided base

Jigs provided to position the plates of the 6 legs

The guided assembly does not stop at the top. In the complete table in welding kit version, specially cut jigs are also provided to facilitate the positioning of the plates on the six square tube legs.

These jigs match the outer shape of the tube to center the plates, hold them in the axis of the leg, and simplify their tacking before welding.

Jig for the upper plate

A first jig allows positioning and centering the upper plate on the square tube. This plate is then used to bolt the leg under the table top.

  • Centered positioning on the tube
  • Plate held in axis
  • Simplified tacking
  • Regular assembly on all six legs

Jig for the lower plate

A second jig allows positioning the lower plate, located at the other end of the leg and intended to receive the caster.

  • Centering of the caster plate
  • Alignment with the square tube
  • Simple tacking before final welding
  • Cleaner and more homogeneous base

A kit designed to be truly assembled: the jigs prevent the customer from having to manually measure and trace the centering of each plate, on all six legs.

Designed for real workshops

Why choose the 600 × 1500 mm Series?

With its 6 mm top, 150 mm peripheral rims, and rigid structure, this table easily withstands repeated tacking, clamping, and welding. Its length of 1500 mm offers a comfortable workspace for long parts or assembly setups, while remaining compact and easy to move.

Finish Raw pickled steel, unpainted

Raw steel may show differences in shade, handling marks, superficial marks, or natural oxidation beginnings. These characteristics are inherent to a raw metal product intended for workshop use.

Clamping system

Ø16 mm holes and 50 mm spacing

The upper surface and peripheral rims are perforated with 16 mm diameter holes, distributed at a regular spacing of 50 mm.

This network allows the use of various clamping accessories and multiplies positioning points across the entire table.

Positioning parts

The regular grid allows stops, squares, and accessories to be placed at different points on the table.

Holding before welding

Clamps, presses, and Ø16 mm pins allow elements to be held during inspection, tacking, and assembly.

Clamping on side faces

The 150 mm perforated peripheral rim also allows work on all four sides of the table.

Creating repetitive assemblies

The repetition of holes facilitates the creation of jigs, reproducible positions, and small series.

Rigidity and versatility

A 150 mm peripheral rim

The peripheral rim forms a continuous belt on all four sides of the table. It contributes to the overall rigidity of the top and complements the internal structure.

Its height of 150 mm also offers a lateral surface for clamping parts vertically or directly against the edge of the table.

  • Enhanced rigidity on all four sides
  • Possible clamping on side faces
  • Positioning of vertical parts
  • Holding at the edge of the work surface
  • Design adapted for intensive use

To maintain a clean work surface, we recommend storing the table in a dry place, cleaning it regularly, and applying a protection compatible with welding work.

  • Avoid outdoor storage
  • Wipe water and liquids quickly
  • Regularly remove welding spatter
  • Keep holes clean to facilitate clamping
  • Apply suitable anti-corrosion protection
Frequently asked questions

FAQ – 600 × 1500 mm Welding Table

What is the difference between the four configurations?

The kit tabletop is delivered in parts to be welded. The welded tabletop is assembled in our workshops, without legs. The complete kit table includes the tabletop, 6 legs, plates, castors, and screws, but requires welding. The complete welded table is prepared in the workshop and only requires the bolted assembly of the elements provided for this purpose.

Why is this table more accessible than other models?

Its reduced width (600 mm instead of 900 or 1200 mm) requires less material and occupies less floor space, which allows for a more accessible price. The tabletop thickness, edge, and clamping system remain identical to the rest of the range.

What is the total surface area of the tabletop?

The tabletop measures 600 × 1500 mm, for a total working surface of 0.9 mÂČ.

Is the tabletop really 6 mm thick?

Yes. The tabletop is made of 6 mm thick pickled S235JR steel, identical to other models in the range.

What is the diameter of the holes?

The holes have a diameter of 16 mm and are spaced evenly at 50 mm.

What clamping accessories can be used?

The table is designed to accommodate accessories compatible with the Ø16 mm system: clamps, stops, squares, presses, pins, and other positioning elements. Check the exact dimensions of the accessories before purchase.

How to properly position the plates on the 6 legs?

The complete kit table is delivered with positioning templates specially cut to fit the square tube of the legs. A first template centers the upper plate, intended to be bolted under the tabletop. A second centers the lower plate, intended to receive the castor.

Can the table be fitted with castors?

Yes. Ø155 mm industrial castors with double brakes are offered depending on the chosen configuration. Given the weight of the table, handling must always be done with caution.

Is the table delivered painted?

No. It is delivered in raw pickled steel. Regular protection and maintenance are recommended to limit the appearance of superficial oxidation.

Where is the table manufactured?

It is designed, cut, and manufactured by 4A Métal in our workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube region.

Is delivery possible everywhere in France?

Delivery can be arranged in France and several European countries. Conditions depend on the configuration, weight, volume, and destination address.
