A long and narrow welding table, entry-level, designed for heavy clamping, tacking, and structural welding on long parts.
The 600 Ă 2400 mm 4A Metal welding table is the longest and narrowest model in the range, with a working surface of 1.44 mÂČ. Its 6 mm pickled S235JR steel top, 150 mm peripheral edge, and Ă16 mm grid with a 50 mm center distance offer the same clamping precision as our wider models, in a compact and more accessible footprint.
Manufactured in our workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, Aube, it is available as a top only or a complete table, in a kit to be welded or already welded in our workshops.
The most accessible format of the long range. With its 2.4 meters length and only 0.6 meter width, this table is designed for long and thin jobs (tubes, profiles, rails) while minimizing material and floor space â and therefore cost.

4
Complete table welded
The top and welded elements are prepared in our workshops. Upon receipt, only the legs and casters need to be bolted according to the delivered configuration.
A true kit designed for simple welding, even on a long and narrow format
On a top 2.4 meters long and only 0.6 meters wide, assembly rigor is essential: it is the most demanding format in the range in terms of alignment. The 600 Ă 2400 table uses precisely cut parts and different positioning systems that facilitate the installation of the top and base.
The kit versions are delivered with holding clamps and threaded rods. These allow the elements to be pressed against each other, the structure to be held during tacking, and movements related to welding to be limited.
1
Top positioning
The edges and reinforcements are positioned under the top thanks to the cutouts, housings, and marks provided during design.
2
Holding in place
Clamps and threaded rods allow the different parts to be pressed together and maintain a regular assembly over the entire length during tacking.
3
Assembly of the 6 legs with templates
The provided templates fit the square tube to center the upper and lower plates of the six legs before tacking and welding.
4
Progressive welding
The top and base can then be tacked and progressively welded, alternating zones along the length to better control thermal deformations.
Controlled flatness: the assembly system allows the different parts to be pressed before welding and to obtain a regular geometry. On such a long and narrow format, the final result particularly depends on respecting the tacking order and the distribution of welds along the entire length.
A guided base as well
Templates provided to position the plates of the 6 legs
Guided assembly does not stop at the top. In the complete table in welding kit version, specially cut templates are also provided to facilitate the positioning of the plates on the six square tube legs.
These templates fit the outer shape of the tube to center the plates, hold them in the axis of the leg, and simplify their tacking before welding â a valuable reference to reproduce the same assembly six times identically over the 2400 mm length.
Template for the top plate
A first template allows positioning and centering the top plate on the square tube. This plate is then used to bolt the leg under the table top.
Centered positioning on the tube
Holding the plate in axis
Facilitated tacking
Regular assembly on all six legs
Template for the bottom plate
A second template allows positioning the bottom plate, located at the other end of the leg and intended to receive the caster.
Centering of the caster plate
Alignment with the square tube
Simple tacking before final welding
Cleaner and more homogeneous base
A kit designed to be actually assembled: the templates save the customer from having to manually measure and mark the centering of each plate, on all six legs distributed under the 2400 mm length.
A format designed for accessibility
Why choose the 600 Ă 2400 mm Series?
This model targets long and thin jobs that do not require great width: tubes, profiles, rails, elongated frames. By reducing the width to 600 mm, the table uses less material and occupies less floor space than a 900 or 1200 mm wide model, for a more accessible price without changing steel thickness or clamping system.
It's the same 6 mm top, the same 150 mm edge, and the same Ă16 mm grid as on the rest of the range â only the width changes.
Useful length of 2400 mm
The longest length in the range, suitable for long and thin parts requiring multiple holding points.
Compact width of 600 mm
A width that reduces floor space and material quantity, thus the price, without reducing the thickness of the top.
Same level of equipment
6 mm steel, 150 mm edge, Ă16 mm grid with 50 mm center distance: no compromise on structural characteristics.
A workstation dedicated to long parts
Ideal as a secondary workstation dedicated to tubes and profiles in a workshop already equipped with a wider table.
Rigidity is also seen underneath
A top supported over its entire length
A table 2400 mm long and only 600 mm wide must be designed as a complete unit: on this very elongated format, rigidity strongly depends on the peripheral edge, internal reinforcements, and the distribution of the base.
The 600 Ă 2400 mm table rests on six square steel tube legs 60 Ă 60 mm, distributed along the length to support the structure and improve the overall stability of the assembly.
6 mm pickled steel top
150 mm peripheral edge
Longitudinal and transversal stiffeners and reinforcements under the work surface
6 legs distributed under the 2400 mm length
60 Ă 60 mm square steel tube, 3 mm thick
Exact number of longitudinal and transversal reinforcements to be confirmed before publication â same remark as on previous product sheets.

Finish
Raw pickled steel, unpainted
Raw steel may show color differences, handling marks, superficial marks or natural oxidation initiation. These characteristics are inherent to a raw metal product intended for workshop use.
Clamping system
Ă16 mm holes and 50 mm center distance
The top surface and peripheral edges are perforated with 16 mm diameter holes, distributed at a regular 50 mm center distance.
This network allows the use of various clamping accessories and multiplies positioning points along the entire length of the table.
Positioning long parts
The regular grid allows stops, squares, and accessories to be placed at different locations along the 2400 mm length.
Holding before welding
Clamps, presses, and Ă16 mm pins allow elements to be held during inspection, tacking, and assembly.
Clamping on the side faces
The 150 mm perforated peripheral edge also allows working on all four sides of the table.
Creating repetitive setups
The repetition of holes makes it easy to create templates, reproducible positions, and small batches.
Rigidity and Versatility
A 150 mm Peripheral Lip
The peripheral lip forms a continuous band on all four sides of the table. It contributes to the overall rigidity of the top and complements the internal structure â a particularly important point on such a long and narrow format.
Its 150 mm height also provides a lateral surface for clamping parts vertically or directly against the edge of the table.
Enhanced rigidity on all four sides
Clamping possible on lateral faces
Positioning of vertical parts
Retention at the edge of the work surface
Design adapted for long parts
Designed for Real Workshops
For Which Users and Which Jobs?

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ â 600 Ă 2400 mm Welding Table
What is the difference between the four configurations?
The kit top is delivered in parts to be welded. The welded top is assembled in our workshops, without a stand. The complete kit table includes the top, 6 legs, plates, casters, and hardware, but requires welding. The complete welded table is prepared in the workshop and only requires the bolted assembly of the elements provided for this purpose.
Why is this table more accessible than other models?
Its reduced width (600 mm instead of 900 or 1200 mm) requires less material and takes up less floor space, which allows for a more accessible price. The thickness of the top, the lip, and the clamping system remain identical to the rest of the range.
What is the total surface area of the top?
The top measures 600 Ă 2400 mm, for a total work surface of 1.44 mÂČ.
Is the top really 6 mm thick?
Yes. The top is made of S235JR pickled steel with a thickness of 6 mm, identical to the other models in the range.
What is the diameter of the holes?
The holes have a diameter of 16 mm and are spaced at a regular pitch of 50 mm.
What clamping accessories can be used?
The table is designed to accommodate accessories compatible with the Ă16 mm system: clamps, stops, squares, presses, pins, and other positioning elements. Check the exact dimensions of the accessories before purchase.
How to correctly position the plates on the 6 legs?
The complete kit table is delivered with positioning templates specially cut to fit the square tube of the legs. A first template centers the upper plate, intended to be bolted under the top. A second centers the lower plate, intended to receive the caster.
Why does the table have six legs on such a narrow top?
On such a long format (2400 mm), six legs allow for better support distribution over the entire length and limit plate deflection, despite a reduced width of 600 mm.
Can the table be equipped with casters?
Yes. Ă155 mm industrial casters with double brakes are offered depending on the chosen configuration. Given the length and weight of the table, handling must always be done by several people and with caution.
Is the table delivered painted?
No. It is delivered in raw pickled steel. Regular protection and maintenance are recommended to limit the appearance of superficial oxidation.
Delivery can be arranged in France and several European countries. Conditions depend on the configuration, weight, volume, and destination address. Given the length of the package (2400 mm), check the access constraints at your delivery address.
The 600 Ă 2400 mm welding table combines a 1.44 mÂČ work surface spread over a great length, a 6 mm S235JR pickled steel top, a Ă16 mm clamping system with a 50 mm pitch, and a 150 mm peripheral lip.
Available as a top only or as a complete table, in kit or welded, it allows everyone to choose the level of preparation corresponding to their equipment, budget, and desire to participate in the manufacturing process.
Supported by six 60 Ă 60 mm square steel tube legs distributed over the entire length, it offers the same level of equipment as the rest of the range, in a more accessible format.
