4A Metal Long Format
4A Metal Welding Table – 900 × 2100 mm
Visuals show a table with a depth of 900 mm. The delivered product depends on the selected configuration.
🇫🇷 Made in France🦾 6 mm S235JR Pickled Steel🔩 Ø16 mm Holes📏 50 mm Pitch📐 150 mm Edge🛠️ 4 Configurations
A professional welding table designed for long and precise work: ramps, tubular structures, chassis, and ironwork or boiler making assemblies.
The 900 × 2100 mm 4A Metal welding table offers a work surface of 1.89 m² distributed over a good length, without requiring a significant width. Its 6 mm S235JR pickled steel top, its 150 mm peripheral edge, and its Ø16 mm grid with a 50 mm pitch offer excellent positioning precision.
Manufactured in our workshops in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube region, it is available as a top only or as a complete table, in a welding kit version or already welded in our workshops.
A good compromise between length and footprint. With its 2.1 meters in length and 0.9 meters in width, this table is suitable for long parts (ramps, tubular structures, chassis) while remaining more compact on the floor than a 1200 mm wide model.

Easy assembly
A real kit designed for simple welding
On a table 2.1 meters long and 0.9 meters wide, positioning the pieces before welding requires precision. This is why the 900 × 2100 table uses precisely cut pieces and various positioning systems to facilitate the placement of the top and the base.
The kit versions come with holding clamps and threaded rods. These allow the elements to be pressed together, to maintain the structure during tack welding, and to limit movements related to welding.
1
Positioning the top
The edges and reinforcements are positioned under the top thanks to the cuts, recesses, and marks provided during design.
2
Securing in place
Clamps and threaded rods allow the various pieces to be pressed together and maintain a regular assembly along the entire length during tack welding.
3
Assembly of the 6 legs with templates
The provided templates fit the square tube to center the upper and lower plates of the six legs before tack welding and final welding.
4
Progressive welding
The top and the base can then be tack welded and then progressively welded, alternating zones along the length to better control thermal deformations.
Controlled flatness: the assembly system allows the various pieces to be pressed together before welding, achieving a regular geometry. The final result also depends on following the tack welding order, distributing welds along the entire length, and controlling heat input.
A guided base as well
Templates provided to position the plates of the 6 legs
The guided assembly doesn't stop at the top. In the complete table kit to weld version, specially cut templates are also provided to facilitate the positioning of the plates on the six square tube legs.
These templates match the outer shape of the tube to center the plates, keep them aligned with the leg, and simplify their tack welding before final welding.
Template for the upper plate
A first template allows positioning and centering the upper plate on the square tube. This plate is then used to bolt the leg under the table top.
Centered positioning on the tube
Plate held in alignment
Simplified tack welding
Regular assembly on all six legs
Template for the lower plate
A second template allows positioning the lower plate, located at the other end of the leg and intended to receive the caster.
Centering of the caster plate
Alignment with the square tube
Simple tack welding before final welding
Cleaner and more uniform base
A kit designed for actual assembly: the templates prevent the customer from having to manually measure and mark the centering of each plate on all six legs.
Designed for real workshops
Why choose a 900 × 2100 mm table?
With its 2.1 meters in length, this table is ideal for long assemblies and chassis, ramps and tubular structures, ironwork and boiler making.
The 150 mm edge reinforces the rigidity of the top and limits deformations during heavy welding, while the six-leg structure ensures perfect support, even under heavy loads.
Useful length of 2100 mm
A comfortable base for ramps, chassis, and tubular structures requiring multiple holding points.
Compact width of 900 mm
A width that limits the floor footprint while remaining sufficient for most common assemblies.
Fewer repositionings
The available length allows more elements to remain on the table during adjustment and tack welding.
A workstation dedicated to long parts
Suitable for ironwork and boiler making workshops regularly working on elongated structures.
Rigidity is also visible underneath
A top supported along its entire length
The rigidity of a long table does not depend solely on the thickness of its top. It also relies on its peripheral edge, internal spacers, and the distribution of its base.
The 900 × 2100 mm table rests on six 60 × 60 mm square steel tube legs, distributed along the length to support the structure and improve the overall stability of the assembly.
6 mm pickled steel top
150 mm peripheral edge
Internal spacers under the work surface
6 legs distributed under the 2100 mm length
60 × 60 mm square steel tube, 3 mm thickness
Exact number of longitudinal and transverse reinforcements to be confirmed before publication — same remark as on previous sheets.

Finish
Raw pickled steel, unpainted
Raw steel may show differences in shade, handling marks, superficial marks, or natural oxidation. These characteristics are inherent to a raw metal product intended for workshop use.
Clamping system
Ø16 mm holes and 50 mm pitch
The upper surface and peripheral edges are perforated with 16 mm diameter holes, distributed at a regular 50 mm pitch.
This grid allows the use of various clamping accessories and multiplies positioning points along the entire length of the table.
Position long pieces
The regular grid allows stops, squares, and accessories to be placed at different points over the 2100 mm length.
Hold before welding
Clamps, presses, and Ø16 mm pins hold elements during inspection, tack welding, and assembly.
Clamp on the side faces
The perforated 150 mm peripheral edge also allows working on all four sides of the table.
Create repetitive setups
The repetition of holes facilitates the creation of templates, reproducible positions, and small series.
Rigidity and versatility
A 150 mm peripheral edge
The peripheral edge forms a continuous band on all four sides of the table. It contributes to the overall rigidity of the top and complements the internal structure.
Its height of 150 mm also provides a side surface for clamping parts vertically or directly against the edge of the table.
Enhanced rigidity on all four sides
Clamping possible on the side faces
