We design. We cut. We fold. We assemble. Only then do we sell the file.
Designed for manual folding
Each fold line is provided in the file to be laser-cut with a system of bend lines that guides and facilitates folding by hand, without a press brake — see the method details in the visual below.
This system comes from our real-world workshop trials and has evolved over several prototypes to reduce complex folds and facilitate assembly.

What the download contains
A ready-to-use cutting file, and the entire method to go from flat sheet metal to assembled sculpture.
File 1
DXF File
All parts laid flat, ready to be imported into your laser cutting software (or sent to a service provider). Bend lines and numbering included.
Folder 2
Folding Folder
One sheet per part: direction of the fold (towards you or away), suggested folding order, and identification of welds with neighboring parts — the detail of the method is illustrated above. Everything you need to progress piece by piece without getting lost.
Folder 3
Assembly Guide
Numbered views from all angles. Each piece finds its exact position in the sculpture, and the areas using our positioning systems are identified to weld accurately the first time.
Don't have a laser cutter? The XXL Tiger is also available in an steel kit version, with parts already cut — see below.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a press brake required?
No. The bend lines are laser-prepared to be folded by hand, using simple tools (pliers, mallet, locking pliers).
Do I need to know how to weld?
Yes. The parts are assembled by tacking then welding (MIG/MAG or TIG). This is a file for a DIYer already comfortable with sheet metal and welding, not a beginner project.
Do I need laser cutting to use this file?
Yes, the DXF file is for you to cut (your machine or a service provider). If you don't have access to laser cutting, the XXL Tiger is also available as a steel kit with parts already cut.
Are the cut parts included with the file?
No, only the cutting file. The already-cut parts are sold separately in our steel kit.
Are the folding and assembly folders provided?
Yes, both are included with the file: a piece-by-piece folding folder and an assembly guide with numbered views.
Can I manufacture and sell multiple XXL Tigers from this file?
Yes, the included license is a serial production license: you can manufacture and sell as many copies as you wish. You cannot resell or redistribute the file or the PDF folders themselves (see our license below).
